STRATHISLA
23 year
43%
Times Whisky Circle, Single Cask.
Dist. 1979
Bott. 2002
Not bad so far but will have to taste again I think this could be a 7 out of 10 whisky for me. Seemed quite light when I tried it but a little aftertaste that wasn't quite as smooth as I expected from one of the main components of Chivas Regal. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

i remember doing the distillery a few years back, very impressive. that was my 1st taste of chivas regal and i was vet impressed, for a bleand it was very complex and stayed around on the taste bud for a long time, like the sound of your strathisla, not had that one. _________________ i've been on a whisky diet, i've lost 3 days already

I love Strathisla malt but only had a much younger version than the one you've got lucky man. Chivas Regal is a nice blend, one of those that if nothing else available when out is quite a good fallback. |
