Drams may be banned on tours of distilleries

Quote:
Distilleries could be barred from serving a dram to visitors at the end of tours under Scottish Government proposals to tackle alcohol abuse.

How bloody stupid, those going to a whisky distillery and have paid for a trip around are of course there to try the distilleries whisky. This would be the longest most expensive way to abuse alcohol! I think I'll just take a trip to a distillery, do a half hour tour and have a sample of whisky at the end to fulfil my alcoholic dependency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

I think if they believe it will stop alcohol abuse they need to look at their own drinking habits Rolling Eyes

I know, instead of driving 200 miles to a distillery to abuse alcohol, we should all stay at home and drink the petrol we have saved by not going, and its cheaper Shocked Shocked Wink
