Laphroaig malt whisky is to host an online interactive tasting, broadcast live from a sherry boedga.

The tasting takes place on Thursday (September 23) at 7pm UK time, lasting for 40 minutes.

Viewers can post live questions to a panel composed of distillery manager John Campbell, brand ambassador Simon Brooking, singer and Laphroaig fan Diego Sandrin and Harveys Bristol Cream general manager Jose Antonio Souto.

The tasting will aim to offer an insight into marriage of flavours that come from the sherry casks and bourbon barrels used in the whisky’s creation.

A similar tasting held last year was viewed by 20,000 people in 79 countries.

The tasting can be seen at http://live.laphroaig.tv.
