I've been savoring this 'Laddie for the last 6 months. Since I'm down to me last wee drams of this fine malt
I thought I'd write up some notes for memories sake.
Bruichladdich Cairdean "Family"
Limited to 2000 50cl bottles
Distilled: 14/04/89
Bottled: 2003
Age: 14 years old
Cask: Refill Sherry
~tasting notes~
Color: Bronze
Nose: Candied fruit, apples & oranges
Palate: Creamy, sweet, and light peat, a following for a fruity finish.
Finish: A long finish with lots of fruit and some Sherry, a slight peated smoke comes though in the end.
A great 'Laddie that I rate at 82~85
Cheers!!! |
