I quite like the 10 year old as it's quite light but still has a nice flavour. Very good with food. |

not yet had the 10yo but i do have a bottle of glenturret 8yo (unopened), however that was a very good drop of malt for a young whisky, cant give you any tasting notes cos its a few years since i have had any, however, a mini pops up on ebay now and again and it is well worth a bid :D _________________ i've been on a whisky diet, i've lost 3 days already

I won't harp on about the changes at Glenturret or brining down the ages but I've tried the 8 year old and 10 year old and both are fine. It really is a lovely whisky that should be more known. Unfortunately with it being in the Famous Grouse shadow it's not going to change anytime soon. |

i quite agree richard, grouse has overshadowed a great whisky with lots of potential yet all you get when you visit the mickey grouse experience is grouse, grouse and more grouse
glenturret is a fine malt at any age and is easily drinkable. they have reduced the number of bottlings to a stage where it could become exclusive. not in my opinion the way to go in an expanding and exciting malt whisky market. me thinks that its time for a letter of protest to glenturret about the way these changes are affecting the true malt lover _________________ i've been on a whisky diet, i've lost 3 days already

I bet it won't be little bottles of water on their table I imagine Bush though will keep clear of Scotch mist in case he has to do something about climate change I came over all sensible then, Talisker you're a bad influence.
Anyone see Pink Floyd at the Live8? Whisky in hand which probably wasn't helping Africa too much but I did have some fair trade choclate as well so that evens it up |
