If you substitute the 28 days later's London by a forest you get "Severed".
But I enjoyed very much the movie.
First of all, the zombies look great! And they are slow...
The dark atmosphere in the forest is gorgeous. Daylight isn't enough deep in the woods to see clearly what is all around you.
The point of enviromental activists bounded to a trees in a forest overrunned by the dead is totally terrific...
The idea of different groups of people fighting each other is done perfectly: the enviromental activists and the lumberjacks.

As you liked 28 days later you will like Severed. Only one thing: shows up a group of lumberjacks ("I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, sleep all night and work all day", do you remember that song by Monty Pithon?) living protected by wire fences in a postapocalyptical way of live like in Land of the dead in only a couple of days after the outbreak... a bit dissapointing.
