Sequel to 28 Days Later and Great Britain is finally repopualted by the Americans, ummmmmm!!!! Me thinks someone couldn't be bothered to find a new story and thought hey lets tag a new story onto a great independent movie that did really well but this time put in lots of guns and military!!!! Oh well, we'll wait and see, maybe they'll be like Team America

As far as I have read in some webs like IMDb and others, I see that there are many british that don't like yankees saving the day in the UK.
If 28 days later were a spanish film, and the sequel, 28 weeks would have yankees saving our asses I wold be a bit dissapointed.
Anyway, I'm so excited thinking in viewing the film as soon as possible!
I wrote (in spanish, I'm sorry) an article about this film in a blog about zombies: http://zombi.blogia.com/2006/111001-28-weeks-later.php. At least you could see a couple of images and the trailer.
Do you know that the filmaker is from Spain?

Yes, I didn't know anything of the film, I saw it on your blog. Like you I will watch it as it's zombiesque / plaque, end of the world, well you know what I mean I will enjoy it for what it is but the original is believable while this will be nuclear bombs and gattling guns

Yeah, you are right. This would be another kill-kill-kill flick with zombies in it, but not a true survival-horror-zombie film like the first one.
But I'm going to see it as soon as possible, he, he...

As I have heard 28 week later is to 28 days later the same that Aliens is to Alien. In other words: what we had said before.
But I will go to the cinema running like an infected on 29th June (that's the day they will release the film here, mother****!)

It's actually got quite good reviews and I can't help but zombie movies, it's my infected brain

Haven't you seen it? You, that live in a good country that release the films on time...
I'm counting the hours, the minutes, the seconds left to the release in Spain.

I know. Roger/Blogger in the shadow has two kids now and he has no time at all for doing nothing outside his house. But he's a bad daddy and he's going to go with me to the cinema this weekend!

Fantastic. I was going to be a bad dad and visit a brewery this Sunday with Old Faithful but the rain has put pay to that idea
