Caol Ila was my first stop in touring the Islay distilleries this year. Arriving at 9:30am (whisky for breakfast!!) I was the lone person on the tour, maybe that's why I got a stillman to show me around. Anyway the tour was excellent, the stillman really got into talking his trade. The tour itself lasted a good 1 1/2 hours followed by a dram of the cask strength OB. Yummy!
