Where's the Christmas beers in that list, a nice Kriek to go with the main meal or some Bah' Humbug |
I was in a supermarket recently (sorry can't remember which one!) & saw a bottle of belgian beer that I've never seen before (sorry can't remember the name!), for a very good price (sorry can't remember the price!)
But it was in a cream coloured bottle, & came in Blonde, Brun, & Triple!!
Good searching!!!
I'll narrow it down for ya!! It was either Morrison's, Or Waitrose!! |

I think you are thinking of La Trappe, 2 for £5. probably Morrisons as I was at Waitroses today and Sainsburys and no really decent beer offer or whisky except Bah' Humbug for £1.79 at Sainsburys. Laphroaig at Sainsburys was around £15.99 on offer so not too bad.
The design I think has changed a bit since this but the bottles are still as great as ever and the beer is lovely _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

Picked up a couple of good offers this week!!
Firstly Asda are selling 12yr old Glenlivet for £17.99 - BUT it's in a lovely leather & suede box!!
A real find for only £17.99!!!
Also I went to Oddbins in York today, & they had an offer of buy 2 bottle of single malt, get £10 off!! (I assume this will be a national offer, & not just a local thing?)
Anyway I got a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail, & a bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask for just £54!!!! (which wasn't bad when you consider The Whisky Shop just around the corner in York when selling Uigeadail for £40.99!!!! )
They have quite a few malts covered by this offer, so it's worth a look if you're planning on buying any for the festive period!! |

Glenlivet £13.99 at Somerfield, they did have the Christmas containers but none in Cottingham left in these at the moment, but excellent price anyway. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

Somerfield aren't the cheapest supermarket but when they get offers on wines and spirits they are usually very good. This is the shop that always have in the McClellands range from Morrison Bowmore. They even have a website now: http://www.mcclellands.co.uk/Products1.aspx _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |
