Sci Fi channel is showing Salems Lot the new version with Rob Lowe over 4 episodes. Last night was Part 3 of 4 and even though they've slightly changed it from the original this has only helped to improve on the earlier version, which is still good. It works not by gore but by small town mentality, phobias, hidden secrets, close community etc and the horror is slow paced and eventually all emcompassing.
