He scared me a lot when I saw the film for first time. I downloaded the film and I managed to see it with my girlfriend. She thought that Phantasm is a crap... My god! She is insane! She said that this isn't an horror film... For me the Tall Man resembles the HORROR in capitals.
One of the best scenes of the film: the little boy meets the Tall Man at the other side of the street, meanwhile his uncle take out some ice-creams from his car... Let me show you the scene with some pics...

What I didn't enjoy were the sequels...
