Distillers Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet and malty, almost floral, hints of citrus, tangy tangerines, faint medicinal notes, delicate.
Palate: Sweet and oily with flavours of red apples, rich thick phenols, chewy, rock salt, soot and fire embers.
Finish: Thick salty tingle at the front of the tongue, sweet phenols, fades to floral buttercups.
Overall: Wild, unruly and enigmatic.

A fine whisky which took me sometime to start enjoying but has now become a definite one to buy occasionally. Definitely a better whisky for colder days later in the year in front of a fire but even summer nights around here can be a little chilly Wink
