Zero on this forum has a garden and garage full of water at the moment in Cottingham and our loft where I am now is leaking badly.
How is the weather effecting any of you? _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

Zero has never had flooding at his house in the last 12 years they've owed it! _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

Zero seems to of got off with losing the contents of his garage including a freezer etc so far. My mum was only able to rest at around 11.30 last night but tomorrow could be bad again and they still don't know how the rain got in!!
Here's a pic of Zeros street yesterday

Another picture of the floods in Yorkshire yesterday, this is Zeros back garden and garage to the left covered in plants. His freezer was in the garage so don;t know what he'll find when he goes in there this morning.

i understand that the M1 is closed around the sheffield area today due to the possible breach of a dam....i notice this lunch time a coach leaving the bus station for hull so it looks like it is not cut off

Hull is getting back to normal but you can see everywhere here in our village and Hull area people with carpets outside etc. The loft where I'm typing now stinks of damp but hopefully that will go if I can keep the windows open long enough. Just hoping there isn't any damage behind the plaster ceiling waiting for me!! _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

I have no idea about that!
I hope you all feel fine now and the heavy rain fades away.
Reading your posts was like reading an apocaliptical diary.
What about your parent's house? It's all under control now?
Zero has a very beautiful neighbourhood. And what a backyard! Even full of water looks wonderful!
Best regards from the desert of Spain. _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.com/ |

Unfortunately builders and insurance companies are very slow so my mother will be going through the heavy rain today and this weekend with no ceilings in her bedroom. She's nearly 70 so running up and downstairs emptying buckets is at least giving her exercise!!!!!!!
We'll see what this weekend brings but very bad around here. The wife took a train to Bridlington yesterday and the houses beside the track were flooded all along, she could still see water above peoples decking etc and carpets etc drying!!!! This picture but without the smile would be more appropriate!! _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |
