Ardbeg is the smokiest malt of all and has incredibly intense flavours. The Serendipity is like an oily sweeter version but i still think it's an absolutely wonderful dram _________________ "For Peat's Sake, let's celebrate International Bog Day" |

Blended whisky is good enough for a toothache :D Have you used Clove Oil, just dab it on the gum and the pain goes, stinks like mad but really works, also good for extra hot curries as the heat disappears. |

Clove Oil is excellent you can get it from Holland and Barrets, its really cheap.
"One of the easiest and most effective natural pain killers, especially for toothache, is clove oil. Many dentists still use clove oil in their offices where stronger analgesics (pharmacologic agents for pain suppression), such as Novocaine, can be avoided. You can rub the clove oil directly onto the painful area inside the mouth. Dilute it with olive oil if it is too strong straight. You can also hold a whole peg of clove in your mouth at the site of the toothache. The numbing sensation will kick in quite rapidly, and will last up to 90 minutes." |

i thank you all for your kind advice, i am going to the dentist in the morning and hopefully it will be sorted.
i have tried clove oil in the past and yes it does work very very well. the problem is i hate the taste of cloves.
for tonight i will go for the blended whisky to ease the discomfort and save the tasting till im sorted which is a shame as i was really looking forward to the serendipity tonight _________________ i've been on a whisky diet, i've lost 3 days already
