EXTRA MATURED.
Our pioneering research into the effect of wood selection on whisky maturation is exemplified by The Quinta Ruban, where mature Glenmorangie is transferred from the original bourbon cask and then extra matured or 'finished' in the finest Ruby Port casks from the 'Quintas' or wine estates of Portugal. 'Ruban' is Gaelic for Ruby.
INTRIGUING COMPLEXITY.
Like sipping velvet, this voluptuously smooth malt whisky imparts a complex balance of dark chocolate and mint flavours, with a luxurious hint of Port in the long, lingering finish. Importantly, The Quinta Ruban is non chill-filtered and bottled at a strength of 46%. This imparts added body, taste and texture to the spirit.
ICON OF SCOTLAND.
Glenmorangie is very proud of its roots in the ancient lands of Ross-shire, in particular the eighth century Cadboll Stone lying close to the distillery and Glenmorangie House. An icon of the Picts, the original people of Scotland, it is as intriguing and compelling as Glenmorangie itself, and the inspiration for our emblem.
