this was the first distillery that i ever visited, long before the visitors center, big glass fronted building and you can see the stills from the road, you met for the tour in the managers office and had a dram and the tour was not as good as they are today but it was a new world to me and got me into malt whisky and whisky in general, nice woode walks at the back of the distillery and red squirrels as well.
the tour today is much more slick and very well presented with happy to help staff, their is an interactive display where, on a screen you can blend a whisky, i was rubbish but my wife cracked it. you could also stay as long as you liked in the interactive area and they have some excelent displays about the history of dewars. it has a nice modern coffee shop and although not a patch on glenturret's restaurant, overall it was a far better experience, for your dram you had a choice of the house style malt, dewars and dewars delux blend, well worth a visit and plenty for the kids

Very nice wallpaper :D another fine distillery to visit. I take it your wife enjoys a dram as well or is she coerced into these trips? _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

I can occasionally entice the wife into a sip and she's usually pleasantly surprised. She likes Glenturret disitillery but mainly for the walk and scenery. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |
