I think this is the problem of a shared language, as I've had this happen before and it's the difference between what you think you've stated and what others think you have said. Non of the nuances of speech are picked up in forums and sometimes a written letter can look quite hard etc without a facial expression to show sarcasm etc. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

or..you could just end up talking to a know it all.
i do not thinks that we have ever had anyone on this site to my knowledge that thinks they know any better than anyone else, they may have a little more knowledge about a subject but never say that they know best.
we can all learn something about a subject we know a lot about, in fact this forum is a wonderful source of information _________________ i've been on a whisky diet, i've lost 3 days already

Hello, as a new member I agree with Talisker 25, have looked in many times and have bought based on views expressed. I have seen the M&S ports and will give them a try after seeing them here. I have taken part on other forums which have had some quite heated debates!! as we used to call arguments in my family I do find that such people tend to put people off joining in conversations, as they feel to embarressed to ask simple questions that are very important when first having an interest in any subject. |

I think everyone has got on very well here and anyone who was a know it all would probably be sent to Coventry rather than abused in anyway. |
