I have taken a couple of classes in a fire fighting program. In Spain offices with more than X workers (I can't remember the number) must have a First Intervention Team in case of a fire. I work for McGraw-Hill Spain, and we have 200 employees (more or less). I was a volunteer. It was very funny!!! We used true hoses (tree people are necessary to manage one of them) and fire-extinguishers (all kinds of them).

In case of a real, serious fire we have to run. We also have an evacuation plan and an evacuation team.
What I have learnt: a CO2 fire-extinguisher is a terrible weapon. It can froze your eyes and get you blind forever... _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.com/ |
