What do you all think about that G.A. Romero based his NOTLD (1968) in Alfred's "The birds" (1963)?
Did he merely substitute birds with zombies?

I know the lighthouse or it maybe the town in the Birds is the same location as in John Carpenters The Fog. I can't remember parachuting Zombies but I imagine if one died of fright on the way down and then bit someone else you could have a crack paratroop regiment of Zombies
They always say there are no new stories and if it is true then he has used very good source material and made a fantastic modern tale from it. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

I'm completely agree with your point of view about original stories...
Im also think that Star Wars (the first one, it means the -new- fourth one) is another Wizzard of OZ:
Chewbie: the lion
R2D2: the doggie
Luke: the little girl
Han Solo: the scarecrow
C3PO: the plate man, of course
...
I like very much the idea of zombies with parachutes!!!! I need a film with this argument right now in the theatres: Point Break Of The Living Dead... Zombie prachuttes, zombie surfers, zombie gangsters... _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.com/ |
