What do you all think about that G.A. Romero based his NOTLD (1968) in Alfred's "The birds" (1963)?
Did he merely substitute birds with zombies?
Question Question Question Question

I know the lighthouse or it maybe the town in the Birds is the same location as in John Carpenters The Fog. I can't remember parachuting Zombies but I imagine if one died of fright on the way down and then bit someone else you could have a crack paratroop regiment of Zombies Laughing Laughing Laughing

They always say there are no new stories and if it is true then he has used very good source material and made a fantastic modern tale from it.

I'm completely agree with your point of view about original stories...
Im also think that Star Wars (the first one, it means the -new- fourth one) is another Wizzard of OZ:

Chewbie: the lion
R2D2: the doggie
Luke: the little girl
Han Solo: the scarecrow
C3PO: the plate man, of course
...

I like very much the idea of zombies with parachutes!!!! Laughing Laughing I need a film with this argument right now in the theatres: Point Break Of The Living Dead... Zombie prachuttes, zombie surfers, zombie gangsters...
