60%vol
8YO
young and powerfull
NOSE:
Christmas fruit and toffee.
COLOUR:
Ruby red/bronze
BODY:
this is an after dinner malt and is very rich, likes rich puddings and fruit cake (leave it out for santa)he won't get much further and you can go through his sack
PALATE:
sweet but not sickly sweet and it has a long finnish and a kick at the end.
this is from old notes like johnny's but i do have a bottle just waiting for the right moment to be opened so it will be interesting to compare now against a tasting 0n millennium eve
7/10

I think your old tasting notes are better than mine. I think some of the older ones probably just say OK whisky and a score Only 3 scottish distilleries I haven't tried something from that are available I believe. Two of them cost around £700 a bottle and one around £800 to £900 a bottle. Can't remember why I haven't tasted them yet!! _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

i am quite supprised how good my note was for this whisky considering the date of the tasting, i think this was around the time i would not go out or to the pub without a notebook :D :D _________________ i've been on a whisky diet, i've lost 3 days already

I remember going out with bits of paper! Especially when visiting the Edinburgh whisky museum for the first time. CAMRA got me out of that as far too many beers to try and record
Just record new whiskies I drink at home mainly now and try and remember notes for whiskies I've drank at friends or out. It's a lot of work when you have an obsessive hobby _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

You could finish like Special Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks talking to his tape recorder: "Diane, 11:30 a.m., February Twenty-fourth. Entering the town of Hull, I've just gone to the bar to taste some ales. The first one is a strong brown ale called..." _________________ http://zombi-blogia.blogspot.com/ |
