Sacred sci-fi!
What film do you prefer, 78 one or the older one in b&w?
I could consider this film as a "zombie film": apocalypse, the world as we know is no more, everybody changing into "something different", some people fighting for survive...
Look at this pic and compare with the next ones from 28 days later and Dawn of the dead (remake 2004):
The zombies from body snatcher are running zombies!
I liked very much the dog from the remake:

I like all the Invasion of the Body Snatchers including the one on the army base. The original though is still excellent sci-fi. Love the time you put into finding the pics, they do have that same feeling of fleeing the inevitable.
The bit with the dag with the tramps face was very spooky.
Another film in this genre is They Live the John Carpenter film were if you put on special glasses you can see that aliens are already among us, and news papers and advertising boards just say "Buy, Buy, Consume, Greed is Good" etc. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |
