Yesterday I finished the last chapter. Amazing serie!!!
Pure survival horror!
And have scenes very very close to zombie horror, like when the guy and the girl were travelling by car and have to drive over the pavement to avoid a truck stopped and being looted in the middle of the street. This moment is one of the best of the serie, with those blind people moving like zombies and trying to get into the car... totally zombie scene!!!
After seeing "The day of the triffids" I think that "28 days later" have less merit...

When Wyndham wrote the book the Triffids are actullay only there to move the story on, the real story is of do we help the blind people, what happens when society collapses, what happens to the marriage ritual etc. So many websites dedicated to this book. He also wrote the Midwich Cuckoo, which is the film Village of the Damned.
