Got a half bottle of Blanton's Original Bourbon for chrimbo. Never heard of it before, but have checked out the website now:-

http://www.blantonsbourbon.com/

Gorgeously shaped bottle, with a horse on the stopper, it comes in a little drawstring bag! Apparently it's the only Bourbon that is actually bottled from a single cask! I never knew that!

Anyone had any of this? Not tried it yet - Can't bring myself to break the wax seal yet!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

You got the motherlode! Blanton's is my #1 favorite Bourbon. Blanton's also sells several bottlings only on the international
and dutyfree markets that include Gold, Silver, & Straight From The Cask, I know of a couple of places in the UK that sell these.

You can add coke to jack daniels because it's sucks anyway,
but PLEASE don't add coke to a fine bourbon such as Blanton's, that's blasphemy! Wink

I'm with you on that one Wave! :D Tried a Jack Daniels & coke the other day, (just for curiositys sake of course!) & it ruined both drinks!! Treat Bourbon the same way as scotch whisky I say!! :D

Did't know anything about Blanton's till I got the bottle, the only mention I could find in any of my world whisky books is of a Colonel Blanton, who set up Ancient Age, I think! Confused
