Dalwhinnie was A Distillery Too Far for us, you'll have to give us your review of the place. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Let-the-drink-talk-675586225966432/ |

Oban is is a nice one to visit, love the town too! Dalwhinnie (went there by train from Perth) has a very picturesque setting. As being
seemingly off the beaten track as to it's remoteness and in the middle of the mountains I got just as 3 buses pulled in!
It was still a good distillery tour and worth the trip!
Countryside around Dalwhinie...
Dalwhinnie Distillery.....
Cheers!! |

W00t!!
I just got reservations at the Lochside Hotel in Bowmore, Islay (just across the street from the Bowmore distillery!) for a week stay.
I've never stayed there before but I've had dinner there once which was quite nice and a it has good pub!
